What is Exchange Hosting?

Exchange Hosting provides the lowest latency route possible to London Stock Exchange Group trading venues* and services. Clients co-locate their equipment within the same data centre as the matching engines and market data systems.

Who is it for?

Exchange Hosting is available to all trading participants (members and non-members) and information vendors in London. The Exchange Hosting Service is popular amongst proprietary vendors, trading firms and desks, as well as prime brokers, and is now home to a large community of low latency clients.

What are the key benefits for clients?

The service provides the client with the lowest latency connectivity option, helping to manage risk and improve certainty of execution for their programmed trading strategies. The service also offers a secure and resilient data centre environment, and hosts a community of prime brokers providing trading and other services to non-members.

Our datacentre

The Group has one co-location facility, a fully owned and operated City of London datacentre serving London Stock Exchange, Turquoise®, Turquoise Europe™ and CurveGlobal trading venues.

GPS Time Synchronisation Service

London Stock Exchange Group can provide time synchronisation in our datacentre through GPS and PTP.

Lifespan Apps Anywhere

Access LifeChart, shared drives, the Lifespan Intranet, and other applications.
