Try searching for "Texas Medical Center Library". You should see this option appear below the search field. Click on this suggestion. This will work for almost all of the electronic resources.

How do I get remote access to the library?

Get a library card number from The TMC Library and register for remote access. Within two days, the library verifies that your institution has vouched for you. The Library triggers release of an email from OpenAthens that prompts you to follow a link to set up your individual login.

How does the TMC Library authenticate access to TexShare databases?

The TMC Library uses the OpenAthens system to authenticate access to electronic resources, including the TexShare databases. Many of the TexShare databases are provided through EBSCO.

Baylor College of Medicine, UTHealth and MD Anderson users will experience the most seamless access, because of the Single Sign-On (SSO) technology that these institutions employ internally.
