Alex, thanks for using Splashtop. Just want to clarify a few things. Splashtop indeed is not faster than RDP when remoting into an old server because servers are known to have very limited graphics capability and graphics memory. Splashtop has been optimized for remote accessing desktops which tend to have much more powerful graphics (in Intel / AMD chipsets and or GPUs from NVIDIA / ATI). For example, if a desktop has NVIDIA GPU, we can even stream 3D games at 60+ fps with <30ms latency by leveraging GPU hardware acceleration. Given server hardware limitation, there isn't much we can optimize around so our performance is likely just on par with RDP for remote server access (unless it's new servers w/ som new Intel chipsets etc.).
