How do I access Leek High’s WebMeeting and Remote Desktop?

Webmeeting / Webinar start page, this link allows you to create and join meetings and lessons hosted at Leek High. Remote Desktop (also known as Terminal Services) allows you to access Leek High’s computer system as if you were sitting at a computer inside the school, you get access to the software on the main system, printers, and your files.

The overall aim of relationships and sex education (RSE) at Leek High School is to support the personal and social development of every student, ensuring that they have the ability to accept their own and others’ sexuality in positive ways and to enjoy relationships based on mutual respect and responsibility, free from any abuse.

Leek High School

We are a school for students aged between 13 and 19. Our catchment serves mainly the eastern side of Leek and much of the Staffordshire Moorlands, with around half our students coming from the town and half from the rural areas. We are a school with a strong sense of community, where your child will be happy and safe.

What was Leek High School?

From this date onward Leek High School was a boys’ school with a preparatory department for boys and girls. At the same time land between Beggar’s Lane and Westwood Road was purchased with the intention of building a new school on it.

When was Leek High School opened?

The new building was opened on July 28th 1900 and Leek High School received its first students in September of that year. Two new rooms were added in 1914 to provide space for increasing student numbers and a further two rooms were added in 1920.
