What is DYCD Connect? DYCD Connect is a “one-stop shop” or single point of access to three applications for tracking participants, capturing and tracking program evaluation and monitoring, and requesting capacity building support. What will happen to the system I am using now?

What services does DYCD provide for Runaway & homeless youth?

School-based community centers serving children age 6 and older and adults. DYCD funds services for Runaway & Homeless Youth that include Drop-in Centers, Crisis Services Programs, Transitional Independent Living programs, and Street Outreach and Referral Services.

What is the discover DYCD tool?

The Discover DYCD tool is used to share location based information about organizations, oppourtunities, and services that are publically available.

What is DYCD online behavior?

DYCD recommends that providers create and distribute a standard of online behavior for meeting participants. This includes prohibiting profanity, nudity, cyber-bullying, and sexual harassment. The meeting moderator should remove any participant who fails to comply with the standard of online behavior.

Can you create a password for a remote meeting?

DYCD recommends that you always create a password for your remote meeting. DYCD also recommends that you designate a moderator for your remote meeting. The moderator should be able to control participants’ ability to mute/unmute and share screens and enable/disable private chats between participants.

How to contact D'Youville?

What should be turned off when connecting to the online databases?

All download managers or download accelerators should be turned off or disabled when connecting to the online databases. These services see the "webauth.exe" that is part of the authentication URL as an executable that must be downloaded first before you can access the site and this is not the case. Examples of such services that should be disabled or turned off include: Speed Bit (speedbit.com, download accelerator), GetRight (GetRight.com), Netscape's Smartdownload and GetBot (getbot.com, download manager). Software such as RealDownload or ad-blocking software can also interfere with Remote Access.

Can you access the D'Youville database online?

Remote access to the online databases is only available to current D'Youville students, faculty, and staff. D'Youville Alumni and DaVinci students are not eligible for remote access based on licensing restrictions of the database vendors.
