Will the virtual lab environment save my work once I set up my Cal Poly Pomona OneDrive connection?
Not automatically. After you have set up your Cal Poly Pomona OneDrive connection within the Virtual Software Lab, OneDrive will not automatically save your work in the virtual environment. You must save your work manually as often as possible within the OneDrive connection path/folder. If you do not manually save your work within the OneDrive connection patch/folder and you leave your session unattended or inactive and something goes wrong, there is currently no way for us to retrieve lost data. Please save your work to avoid data loss.

Routine full-time telecommuters live locally (within 100 miles) and are expected to be available to come to a CAL POLY worksite for meetings or other work on short notice (e.g., same day). Any and all commute expenses incurred are the employee’s responsibility and time spent commuting is not compensable.

Telecommuting opportunities are based upon the duties of the employee’s position and program requirements as determined by the appropriate Vice President. Eligibility of represented employees may vary from bargaining unit to bargaining unit, depending upon negotiated agreements.
How often do you need to complete a telecommuting training?
Employees with telecommuting or remote work arrangements and the appropriate administrators who supervise such arrangements are required to complete the training once per year.
